MY CHILDHOOD BELIEFS.

Post by Emilia »

While growing there are a lot of things my parents made me believe that once I remember today, I can't help myself but to laugh.

I believed that if I swallowed chewing gum, my stomach would be glued together.

I believed that the moon was following our car whenever we travelled at night.

I thought money came directly from ATMs, not knowing someone had to work for it.

I believed that if I swallowed a seed, a tree would grow inside my stomach.

I thought my teacher lived in school because I never saw them at home.

I believed that closing my eyes meant nobody could see me.

I thought becoming an adult meant unlimited freedom, but now I know it means unlimited bills.

I thought my parents could see everything I did, even when they were far away.

I believed that when I grew up, I could eat sweets every day without anyone stopping me. Now I worry about the price of food. That's really crazy.

I thought adults had everything figured out. Now that I'm growing up, I have more questions than answers.

Let's hear yours! What childhood belief makes you laugh the most today?
