Flooding

Flooding is the over flowing of water into lands that is normally dry typically caused by heavy rainfall, over flowing rivers and storms and surges melting snow or broken dams
Causes of flooding:
1,Heavy rainfall resulting from tropical weather disturbances
2, deforestation
3,improper agricultural practices
4, inadequate design of drainage systems
5,ocean waves coming on shores
Flood management:
Structural flood management (i.e flood control ) is the reductions of effects of a flood using physical solutions such as reservoirs,leeves dredging

1.Clear and Maintain Drainage Channels: Regularly clean gutters, canals, and storm water pipes to remove solid waste and silt before the rainy season begins.
2. Stop Improper Waste Disposal
3. Enforce strict building regulations
4. Build and maintain flood control structures
5. Improve Soil Permeability
6. Upgrade Urban Drainage Infrastructure

45% of times floods are also caused by we humans
By
1 clugging our gutters
2 Not properly cleaning are grainages
3 poor environmental clean up
if we take are of our environment the chances can be reduced and we can make living better to
