Power and Control: Every action is anchored in dominating, subordinating, or exerting authority over a partner or family member.
Pattern, Not an Isolated Incident: Abuse is rarely a single mistake; it is an ongoing, systematic way of treating someone.
Shifting Responsibility: Abusive individuals routinely externalize blame, making excuses or convincing the victim that the abuse is the victim's own fault.
Common Forms of Abusive Behavior
Emotional and Verbal Abuse: Name-calling, constant criticism, public humiliation, gaslighting, or making the victim feel bad
Coercive Control and Isolation: Cutting the victim off from friends and family, tracking their movements, demanding constant availability, or dictating what they wear and do.
Economic/Financial Abuse: Controlling all household funds, preventing a partner from working or going to school, or secretly running up debt in their name.
Physical and Sexual Force: Any form of physical hitting, restraining, throwing objects, or non-consensual sexual activity.
Intimidation and Threats: Threatening violence, suicide, taking away children, or breaking cherished objects to instill fear.

it should be a connection been felt by the both gender and not a one sided thing cause its when there is an action that you get a reaction and the both genders should be willing to make sacrifices for each other they should be willing to leave their comfort zone just to make the other really happy cause love is all about sacrifices
