1. Know your customer well
Who buys from you? What do they really need? If you sell to students, workers, or mothers — package and price for them. Ask 5 customers this week: "What would make you buy more?"
2. Be visible every day
- Post your products on WhatsApp Status daily
- Join Facebook groups in PH (e.g., Port Harcourt Market, Rivers Buy & Sell)
- Use fine pictures and short videos, not just text
- People buy from who they see often
3. Give excellent service
- Reply fast
- Deliver on time
- Say "thank you" after sale
- Happy customers will refer others — that's free marketing
4. Manage your money separately
- Open a separate account / wallet for business
- Write down every income and expense daily (even in a small notebook)
- Don't eat your capital. Pay yourself a small salary
5. Add a small extra
- Free delivery in your area
- Small dash / bonus for customers who buy 2 times
- Packaging that looks neat — it makes your business look big
6. Build relationships, not just sales
- Get customers' WhatsApp numbers and check on them
- Broadcast new stock weekly, not daily (so you don't disturb them)
- Collaborate with another small business near you
