*Topic: INTEGRITY*
This is one quality that will make people trust you even when you are not around.
*What is Integrity?*
Integrity means being honest and doing the right thing even when no one is watching you. It is when your words, actions, and thoughts all match. You don't pretend.
*A person with integrity:*
1. Does not cheat in an exam even when the invigilator is not looking.
2. Returns extra change given to him by mistake at a shop.
3. Keeps promises. If he says he will come by 8am, he will come by 8am.
4. Does not gossip or say one thing in front of you and another behind you.
*Why it matters:*
- Trust: People give big opportunities to people they can trust.
- Reputation: It takes years to build integrity but one lie to destroy it.
- Peace of mind: When you live truthfully, you don't need to be afraid.
*Example:*
You find a lost phone in class. No one saw you. You have two choices: keep it, or find the owner. Integrity is choosing to find the owner — because it's right, not because someone is watching.
