When a customer says, “I'll get back to you,” what do you think they're really saying?

You've explained your product, answered their questions, and shared the price.

They seem interested, but just when you think you're about to make a sale, they say, “I'll get back to you.”

And sometimes, they actually do. Other times, you never hear from them again.

But have you ever stopped to think about what might be happening?

Maybe they genuinely need time to decide. Maybe the price is beyond their budget, they're not entirely convinced, or they simply don't see enough value in what you're offering.

And sometimes, they're just not interested but don't know how to say it.

Here's what I find interesting: not every lost sale means your product is bad. Sometimes, there's a gap between what you're offering and what the customer believes they're getting.

So, as a business owner, what do you do when a potential customer says, “I'll get back to you”?

Do you follow up, give them space, or start wondering what went wrong?

I'd love to hear your thoughts.
