God Is Not In A Hurry, But He Is Never Late

Post by Kit larry »

Good morning,
We live in a world that is always rushing.
At 20, they say you should have graduated.
At 25, you should have a good job.
At 30, you should have built a house and married. So when your own life is not following that timetable, you start to panic. You start to think God has forgotten you. But let me tell you this truth: God is not in a hurry, but He is never late. Look at your life. Maybe you prayed for that contract last year and it didn't come. You fasted, you called, you did everything. Nothing. You thought God said no. But today, you are more mature. You know how to price better. You know how to talk to contractors better. If God had given you that big contract last year, you would have spoiled it. Now you are ready. God was not punishing you. He was preparing you. A farmer does not plant corn today and go and dig it tomorrow because it's not growing fast. He waits. He waters. Because he knows corn has its own season. If you force it, you kill it. That is how God works with us. Your friend built house at 28, you are 32 and still in rented apartment. It is not that God loves him more. It is that your building is still in foundation. And foundation that takes long is always stronger. So don't compare your time with another man's time. Your job today is not to rush God. Your job is to keep working, keep believing, keep doing the small things right. Because when God finally comes, He comes with everything at once. One phone call will wipe away 2 years of struggle. Remember: God's clock is different from your wristwatch. Your wristwatch may say you are late. But God's clock says you are right on time.
Thank you.
